National Envelope provides a unified view of multiple ERP systems
National Envelope Corporation, founded in 1952 by William Ungar, has grown to become the largest envelope manufacturer in the world and one of the largest woman-owned businesses in the United States. Based in Uniondale, New York, the company operates facilities across the US and produces more than 180 million envelopes per day. National Envelope uses Visual LANSA and WAMs to provide browser-based access to its ERP systems, LANSA Integrator for a variety of data assimilation tasks and LANSA Commerce Edition for ecommerce.

KLM Equipment Services reduces airport GSE costs with LANSA
KLM Equipment Services (KES), an independent subsidiary of KLM, the national Dutch airline, is one of the leading providers of ground support equipment (GSE) services in the aircraft handling industry. Based at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, one of Europe's top-five airports, KES manages and maintains thousands of pieces of equipment, ranging from simple baggage dollies to massive main-deck-loaders. LANSA's productivity means that a small team of two can develop and maintain the systems needed to manage Schiphol's GSE, initially with LANSA for iSeries and more recently with Visual LANSA.

Government of Bermuda Web site brings students home
The Government of Bermuda offers www.careers.gov.bm, an interactive Web solution for linking Bermudian students and graduates to local employers. The project was initiated through Commission for Unity and Racial Equality in close cooperation with other departments. The site, which has been built with LANSA Web Application Modules (WAMs), uses Web services to exchange data with the Dep. of Immigration. Students are kept up to date about new opportunities even when not online, by email as new opportunities are posted.

Distribution Solutions Inc (DSI), headquartered in Secaucus, New Jersey, USA, is a comprehensive logistics, distribution and transportation company. DSI's services focus on critical supply chain initiatives, including postponement distribution, consolidation and deconsolidation, transloading, order replenishment and Internet order fulfillment. Yachiyo Industry, headquartered in Sayama City, Japan, is a leading manufacturer of automotive parts, such as fuel tanks, sunroofs, pressed and molded parts. Yachiyo has reformed the structure of its Information Systems Department and selected Visual LANSA as its development tool. In just three months, the IS team delivered its first Web development project, for the parts molding process system at its Kameyama plant. Yachiyo is now in the process to apply the application to around 50 parts process systems at its factories in five locations across Japan.
